With 10 nominations — including video of the year — Taylor Swift is set to have a huge night at the 2019 MTV VMAs.
And the pop star made sure to stand out on the red carpet, giving her own twist to the no-pants trend with a gorgeous sparkling Versace blazer.
The blazer was a kaleidoscope of bright colors and prints, including a pattern of neon pink and green belts snaking around the entire jacket.
Gold safety pints and medallions added an extra dose of glamour to the luxurious print from the legendary Italian fashion house.
Swift wore a hot pink leotard underneath that was covered in the same sparkles, ensuring she absolutely shimmered for the cameras.
She accessorized with sparkling green hoop earrings that matched the green on her blazer and rocked her usual cat-eye and a red lip.
Swift topped off the look with a gorgeous pair of thigh-high black boots, which sparkled along with her outfit.
Swift is opening the MTV VMAs on Monday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Her performance comes just days after she released her new album "Lover," which included excerpts from her own diaries.
One of the entries Swift included was written five days after Kanye West stormed the VMAs stage in 2009 just moments after a 19-year-old Swift won the award for female video of the year and said it should have gone to Beyonce instead.
"If you had told me that one of the biggest stars in music was going to jump on stage and announce that he thought I shouldn't have won on live television, I would've said, 'That stuff doesn't really happen in real life,' she wrote.
"Well… apparently….It does."
